Admitted as a lawyer in 2007, David brings almost two decades of legal experience to Sattouts Legal and has developed extensive expertise across a diverse range of practice areas, including Family Law, Commercial and Business Law, Leasing, Property Development, Strata Law, Conveyancing, Franchising, Wills & Estates, Contract Law, and Civil Litigation.
As Co-Principal of the firm, David is known for his practical, solutions-focused approach and his ability to navigate complex legal issues with confidence and clarity. He understands that clients are often seeking not just legal advice, but a path forward. Whether assisting with a business transaction, property development, family dispute, or commercial negotiation, David focuses on achieving practical outcomes while minimising the cost, stress, and uncertainty that can arise from prolonged disputes and litigation.
David's breadth of experience allows him to provide strategic advice across a wide variety of matters, making him a trusted adviser to individuals, families, property developers, business owners, and investors throughout Sydney and New South Wales. Outside of his legal practice, David is an accomplished writer, musician, and performer, with more than twenty years of experience performing music and spoken word throughout Australia, Europe, and Asia. He has appeared at the Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Adelaide Fringe Festivals, as well as the Sydney and Brisbane Festivals. David also speaks conversational French and is currently learning Arabic.

David Sattout
Julia has been practising law since 1997 and brings decades of experience, knowledge, and practical insight to every matter she handles. A graduate of Macquarie University, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws with a major in French, Julia has built a trusted reputation for providing thoughtful advice and exceptional service to generations of clients and families.
Recognised for her extensive experience in probate and estate matters, Julia regularly assists families from the initial stages following a loved one's passing through to obtaining Probate, administering estates, and finalising the distribution of assets. She understands that these matters often arise during difficult and emotional times and is committed to providing supportive guidance that makes the process as straightforward and stress-free as possible.
In addition to her estate planning work, Julia advises clients on property and conveyancing matters, leasing transactions, and a broad range of property law issues, drawing on her many years of legal practice to deliver practical and effective solutions.

Sayed joined Sattouts Legal in 2021 after graduating from Macquarie University Law School. Since joining the firm, he has developed experience across a broad range of practice areas, with a particular focus on conveyancing, assisting first home buyers, commercial and retail leasing, liquor licensing, development transactions, and related commercial matters.
Sayed is passionate about helping clients navigate important milestones with confidence. He understands that legal matters can often feel overwhelming and takes pride in providing practical, straightforward advice that clients can easily understand. His approachable nature and attention to detail help ensure clients feel supported throughout every stage of their matter.
Coming from a family-oriented background, Sayed brings the same values of trust, respect, and genuine care into his legal practice.
